Colleague of the year 2021

February 02, 2022

Fiona Pridham, Claims Supplier Relationship Executive, based out of our Bristol Castlemead office, was nominated for our ‘For the People’ colleague award at the end of summer 2021. Throughout the year our people are encouraged to nominate fellow colleagues, who they feel have gone over and above – whether that’s for our clients, our community or our colleagues. To show their appreciation and recognition, to celebrate our people heroes from across our business.

Fiona, won our people’s hearts and captured their inspiration for her support within the workplace and her community – alongside her highly-demanding role, during the pandemic Fiona has been working (and learning!) alongside people from all walks of life.

She won ‘Colleague of Year 2021’ for her unwavering support to both colleagues and those within her community. From checking in on colleagues, to offering support and companionship to members of her local community. She supports the vaccine roll-out – initially on car park duty in the freezing winter temperatures, providing direction and reassurance, to assisting in giving the vaccine. Her tireless efforts have helped provide vital protection to some of the most vulnerable in her community.

Fiona’s chosen charity is Wiltshire Mind, supporting people with mental health problems or emotional distress.

Fiona is… ’For the People’!

Our award process

Nominations go to a panel of judges made up of colleagues from different areas of Marsh Commercial with a winner picked and announced each quarter. Marsh Commercial then makes a donation in their name to their charity of choice. Each of our quarterly winners then go to colleague vote in December – so that our people can vote on their overall ‘For the People’ Colleague of the Year’. It’s a close run vote – with all our winners, and nominees, having undertaken extraordinary things, often in challenging circumstances. In our eyes they are all winners! However, we choose one winner – who goes on to receive a further donation for their charity to make further impact to their fundraising total.
